It was strange to some of my friends with my statement at Orkut few days back. I wish to start this discussion with the statement “If everything around you is going perfect, mean a change is about to come in your life”. This statement is an experience of my 20 years professional experience, the business will not remain static, the environment will change, I will recall the the baloon story where if you press on the baloon it’s total shape will cahnge but what happens, if there is no pressure on the baloon but the temprature outside keep on changing or when it travel touching thorn. Will it survive or will it make a chnage to make if it is kept in a cold environment or a plane surface.
The same situation apply to business and even to individuals in day today life. I believe we should not wait for time to change us, but we should keep on moving to different environment, different situation or in differnt group of people. That will force us to gain more skills, training, traits, culture and languages. This will also force us to adapt to change. I recollect leaning local laguage when I went to serbia had to learn Serbian and in China, could not avoid to learn a bit of Chinese also. This is not by choice, if you put yourself in a different environment you will end up leaning more and exploring your own experience with a differnt way, which you never have tried. The second reason for necesary change is the life cycles or economy and businesses, change of technology and change of fashion. If you are comfortable and happy at your existing situation, you are leaning to get obsolete in just couple of years. I still remember some of my friend who were experts in their field in automotive company had to struggle for survival when the ownership changed in the company, they had a totally different system.
The change is part of life and the people who love change can change their problems in to opportunity. It may be any problem of life, we might gain happiness just by change of perception about change.

‘Why do we shout in anger?’ A saint asked his disciples, ‘Why do we shout in anger? Why do people shout at each other when they are upset?’ His disciples thought for a while, one of them said, ‘Because we lose our calm, we shout for that.’ ‘But, why do you shout when the other person is just next to you?’ asked the saint. ‘Isn’t it possible to speak to him or her with a soft voice? Why do you shout at a person when you’re angry?’ Disciples gave some other answers but none satisfied the saint. Finally he explained, ‘When two people are angry at each other, their hearts distance a lot. To cover that distance they must shout to be able to hear each other. The angrier they are, the stronger they will have to shout to hear each other through that great distance.’ Then the saint asked, ‘What happens when two people fall in love? They don’t shout at each other but talk softly, why? Because their hearts are very close. The distance between them is very small…’ The saint continued, ‘When they love each other even more, what happens? They do not speak, only whisper and they get even closer to each other in their love. Finally they even need not whisper, they only look at each other and that’s all. That is how close two people are when they love each other. ‘MORAL’ said the saint: ‘When you argue do not let your hearts get distant, do not say words that distance each other more, else there will come a day when the distance is so great that you will not find the path to return!’ See beyond immediate circumstances. Clear the decks of old grievances, become free from outdated thinking. Learn from past experiences and move on by tapping inner sources of self-worth and humility. Valuing honesty and commitment, softly let go and enable others to change. There are new horizons, new growth, a new lease of life.
Thanks Prakash Talathi ji for sharing this with my group.

10 pathways to positive speech
Gossip may be defined as any form of communication that harms another. It can ruin lives, assassinate reputations, split families, alienate friends and destroy businesses. On the other hand, a gossip-free environment leads to peaceful lives, healthier relationships, and overall prosperity.
Yes, the gift of speech is a marvelous one, depending upon how it is used. Would you like your words to soothe instead of sting? Heal instead of hurt? And build instead of burn? Following these ten pathways will help:
1. Speak No Evil. Say only positive statements. Let words of kindness be on your tongue. This means to respond instead of react. And, even, to edit your speech before you speak.
2. Hear No Evil. Refuse to listen to gossip, slander and other negative forms of speech. Hint: If avoiding the conversation is impossible, have another topic of “positive” interest you can quickly bring up in order to change the subject.
3. Don’t Rationalize Destructive Speech. Excuses like “But it’s true” or “I’m only joking” or “I can tell my spouse anything” just don’t cut it. Gossip is gossip, anyway you cut it. Besides, the fact that it is true is what qualifies it as gossip. If it were not true, it would be libel or slander.
4. See No Evil. Judge people favorably, the way you would want them to judge you. If you’ve ever been accused of doing something for which you know you were innocent, then you know how it feels to be misjudged. Remember, if you weren’t there, you don’t know. And, even if you were, you may have missed what actually happened in context.
5. Beware of Speaking Evil Without Saying An Evil Word. Body language, and even positive speech, can bring tremendous destruction. Yes, telling someone you know takes advantage of others’ kindness that a particular person will give you “the shirt off his back,” although it seems like positive speech, is not an act of kindness.
6. Be Humble; Avoid Arrogance. These will be your greatest weapons against destructive speech. As Rabbi Noah Weinberg teaches, “Take pleasure in your accomplishments, not pride.” This way you recognize the Ultimate Source of your accomplishments. And those who are arrogant are so filled with themselves, there is no room for their Creator in their lives.
7. Beware Of Repeating Information. Loose lips sink ships. Even positive information needs permission before being repeated. Telling someone who’s out of a job that your mutual friend, Julie, got a raise, does not constitute proper speech.
8. Honesty Really Is The Best Policy—Most of the Time. Be careful to always tell the truth unless it will hurt others, break your own privacy or publicize your accomplishments. Strive for honesty in everything you do. But if it’s between honesty and unnecessarily hurting another’s feelings, it’s better not to be so truthful. Those who boast about being “brutally honest” are usually more brutal than honest.
9. Learn to Say, “I’m Sorry.” Everyone makes mistakes. If you’ve spoken badly about someone, clear it up immediately. It might be embarrassing, but get it over with quickly. Apologize, ask for forgiveness, and let him or her know it won’t happen again.
10. Forgive. If you have been wronged, let it go. Forgive for your sake, if not for theirs. Those who can forgive live healthier, happier, and less stressful lives. Those who say they’ll forgive but not forget are actually saying that they’ll neither forgive nor forget.
Try this for the next month. The good news is, if you slip up now and then, it only means you are human. Try again. I congratulate you simply for making the effort
Prakash Talathi ji thanks for your contributions. I wish to share the same with my blog friends.
Om shanti.

It is takes lot of pain and efforts to be good parent and becoming a loving dad is biggest challenge for the fathers, as most of fathers are considered ‘the angry man’ in the house. But I found the story turns different, if we follow few good steps.
What can we do ? – is a million dollar question indeed, I found few suggestion from some of my intelligent people through their articles and their experiences, who perhaps are better dad in life then many of us and they share few suggestions, which is easy to follow and is absolutely cost free.

The Upsides
India’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth for last year is about 8%, while inflation is likely to be less than 5 percent. Ensuring economic stability and keeping inflation in check were the highest priorities of economic policy. “While there has been a significant increase in growth, the policies have emphasized stability”.
India is one of the few developing economies where inflation is under control. Not many emerging market economies are without double-digit inflation.” Inflation had decreased from 9.6 percent in the 1990s to around 4.8 percent now.
Giving credit to all his predecessors in the RBI and the policy makers in the Government, the Governor said that those in the Government never allowed inflation to go beyond 10 percent. For its part, the RBI “hates inflation.” Therefore, Indians have faith in the rupee.
Driven by the growth of the manufacturing sector, the industrial growth rate over 10%, compared to 4.5 percent a year ago. That, in turn helps a robust economic growth. According to the Index of Industrial Production (IIP) released recently by the Indian government, the manufacturing sector saw an impressive growth. Meanwhile, the Indian manufacturing sector is estimated to command a market capitalization of over $500 billion by 2014-15, as against $272 billion as of Sept. 30, 2007, said a study on the sector by the CII.
The core manufacturing sector comprises engineering and construction, industrial manufacturing, materials and commodities, chemicals and plastics, and automotive. Mergers and acquisitions are also transforming this sector. M&As in the manufacturing sector account for almost half of the overall deal value.
The downside
The consistent higher economic growth exprience over the past few years made many believe that the Indian economy has entered a high growth path.
Let’s take the agricultural sector. A sector that supports nearly 70 per cent of the country’s population has seen a steady decline. A slide that even reforms failed to stem. India’s agricultural productivity, in most cases, is one of the lowest in the world. Per capita availability of food grain is falling as population is growing faster than food grain production. Unfortunately, in case of agricultural produce, unlike oil, producers do not always benefit from rising price because of wrong policies and bad infrastructure. Not surprisingly, farmer-suicides are still commonplace in India. And, to top it all, investment in rural infrastructure is falling.
However, with the American economy slipping into recession and inflation becoming a major concern world-wide, India is on the verge of a slowdown. We are now seeing the decoupling theory giving way to the ‘recoupling’ theory.
India does not seem to have reached a stage where continued high growth will not trigger inflationary pressure, unlike China which sustained a scorching pace for a much longer period of time on the back of clearly improving productivity. India does not seem to have gained much by way of improving productivity that would have ensured sustained high growth. A mere five-year-long high GDP growth is seemingly choking the economy via inflation.
The sustainability of growth would also depend on high savings rate. However, a closer look at the composition of India’s savings rate does seem to suggest that the recent spurt in the rate has more to do with cyclical factor than real structural improvement.
The Indian Real Estate Bubble
With an estimated growth at an average of between 25-30% in next five years India is one of the fastest real estate markets in the world. As against this growth trajectory, the growth rates in some of the most developed markets in the world has fallen to single digit figures. Unlike in the developed countries India is witnessing its first real boom in the real estate sector since independence. With the fast pace modern era which is affecting this part of the world which is supporting a growing and sustainable economy on a long-term basis India is the place to take note of. With rise in literacy rate and new age economy businesses creating new job opportunities, the middle class brigade of India is only mushrooming which is now well exposed to global trends and, therefore, has similar aspirations in terms of lifestyle.
With over 400 million people set to enjoy this new India they are well poised to support the mammoth opportunities in the real estate sector. India has a well-defined regulatory and financing regime in place. Last but not the least, real estate property in India in both residential as well as commercial segments, are fast turning into gold mines with phenomenal price escalation ( more than 100% in several places) in last couple of years.

A TV Serial which started with an very exciting idea, theme and story, I strongly believe that it only lacks a quality direction and presentation. The serial as being watched by us in UK during April and May has lot of problems of presentation, which a good direction could have very easily been taken care of. Any way the only HOX (for terrorist) in the total team is Samrat, who is the only person who has been shown with mind, network and strategies, rest all of a bunch of untrained civilians, acting like Air force officers.
Any way hope the direction will improve in future. : Krishan Arya

Are you concerned about your health or recently started Gym, then
this article is for you……
Myth 1: Salad is one of the healthiest foods you can eat
We all believes that eating SALAD is always a healthy and non-fattening, but this is not always TRUE. Many restaurants prepared salads with high calorie, high fat dressings. Also, they often add cream or ranch-style sauces and fatty toppings like croutons, bacon bits taco meat, avocado and cheese which make your salad even more fattening.
You probably think that it is okay to eat salad regardless of its ingredients because you tend to associate the word SALAD with DIETING; hence salad becomes an excuse to binge on the food that you desire. Eating salad is non-fattening if you only put either fruits or vegetables such as lettuce, tomatoes, kiwi fruit, cucumber etc. Also, remember to only use Italian or any vinegar-like dressing so that your salad will not be calorie dense. Never use any of that creamy, mayonnaise- like or ranch-style sauces because if you do; you are sure to add pounds in your weight. If you eat salad with everything on it (croutons, bacon bits, cheese and the like) you are just like eating a quarter pound burger or a solo pizza.
Myth 2: Wheat bread is non-fattening
Some may be confused as to “wheat bread” is healthy or not. Pretty much everyone has heard that wheat bread is much better than white bread because WHEAT is perceived as a healthy and non-fattening ingredient in bread. However, wheat doesn’t always mean WHOLE WHEAT, right? No one will explain to you how to pick a wheat bread, and heaven knows there are about a thousand choices. So here’s a tip, when shopping for bread skip anything white or wheat… yes that’s right wheat.
Myth 3: Natural honey and brown sugar are better than white sugar
Replacing honey for white sugar, brown or any other table sugar is really no better for you. In fact, a tablespoon of honey has 64 calories and a tablespoon of granulated sugar only 49 calories; and so honey contains even more calories than sugar. You may think that honey might be better for you than the granulated sugar (there’s really no scientific proof that it is) but still honey has more calories. There is no difference as far as your body is concerned between more refined sugars and more natural products such as the honey.
Another misconception that most people have is the notion that BROWN sugar is less fattening than white sugar. This is just silly. Both are sugar therefore both have high calories which can make you fat especially if you often put in too much on your food and drinks. The only difference between the brown and the white sweeteners is that brown sugar contains more vitamins and minerals. Brown sugar sold at grocery stores is no different with white sugar because brown sugar is actually white granulated sugar with added molasses. Yes, brown sugar contains minute amounts of minerals. But unless you eat a gigantic portion of brown sugar every day, the mineral content difference between brown sugar and white sugar is absolutely insignificant. They are both sugar therefore they both are loaded with calories that can make you fat.
FACTS about SUGAR The average person in this country consumes about 128 pounds of sugar per year. That’s about 34 teaspoons per day. A label listing the first two or three ingredients as sugar is likely to be a very high sugar food. The biggest consequences of eating too much sugar are tooth decay and overweight. Controlled studies prove sugar does not play a role in hyperactive children. Sugar is a refined food that’s been stripped of all viatmins, minerals, fiber, and water. It’s pure sugar. Terms to look for on labels include syrup, honey, molasses, and corn sweeteners or words ending in “-ose” such as dextrose, sucrose, lactose, or maltose. These are all forms of sugar. Since sugar provides calories without other nutrients, it’s best to use it in moderation and emphasize a variety of foods from all the food groups.
Myth 4: Eating after 6 or 8 in the evening will help you lose weight
Starving yourself is a big mistake in dieting. When you are in a weight loss program, it doesn’t matter what time of day you eat–it’s how much you eat during the whole day. Time doesn’t any significant relevance in losing weight. You know from a fact that too much calories in your body causes extra calorie deposits; thus become your stored fat tissue. It is even better if you will have 4 small meals a day. You just need to plan carefully on how you will evenly distribute your daily food into 4 smaller portions. This will allow you to eat anytime you want and still absorb few calories. Also, fewer amount of calorie intake allows your body to burn and process those calories easily. In this way, you are assured that every meal you eat is totally burnt by your body. It is recommended that you eat less during night time because during this time of the day, you will not be doing much work. You meal allocation for night time should only include a very light snack, preferably a slice or two of you favorite fruit.
Myth 5: Eating celery, cabbage soup and grapefruit can help you burn fat.
There is no food that burns fat. Even caffeine in colas and coffee does not eliminate fatty tissues in the body. These foods may somehow stimulate your metabolism but that is only momentarily.
Myth 6: Drinking green tea helps you lose weight.
There are still not enough proof that green tea helps in burning body fat. The caffeine that most teas have is known to stimulate metabolism for certain period of time but is still not yet linked to burn fatty tissue.
MYTH 7 -If I’m running late and have to skip breakfast, I can make it up by eating more at lunch time.
FACT-A good breakfast provides you with energy to start the day right. Without it, you’ll have less get up and go–and more difficulty concentrating in school or at work.
MYTH 8 -I need extra protein to build my muscles.
FACT-Most teens get more than enough protein in their regular diets. The key to bigger muscles is a good exercise program and balanced overall diet. To give your muscles the energy they need for top performance, eat plenty of complex carbohydrate food, such as pasta, bread, crackers, rice and potatoes.
MYTH 9 -I don’t need milk as much as I did as a child.
FACT-Your need for calcium is highest during adolescence, so it is important to include 1% milk and lower-fat dairy products in your diet.
MYTH 10 -”All Foods Fit” means that you can eat anything you want, as much as you want.
FACT-Be sensible. Enjoy all foods without going overboard. Remember to balance your diet with adequate physical activity.

I was in a call, few days back, when I heard someone stating this ‘The brain resides in India, they are more hard working, they speak a better English and also cost effective, so we have to focus there to migrate our business processes to be competitive.
The whole world is like a big country now, the labor rate in India, China or Brazil will affect the labor rate in Europe or US. The supply of megnisite from Eastern Europe or China will affect the international price of Refractory across the world, so now the talent can not be ignored, efforts and capability has to be acknowledged, where ever you are or what ever you do. So we need to continue our efforts what ever others feel about it.
The positive thing is, we have potential. We have proved this when we go abroad and make the whole world to know our presence, we perform better, we are better citizens, so why can’t we do in our country. Why the same people of India or for this matter from any country are a good citizen in Gulf, or US or Europe or UK. Simple they can not break the law, every where there are cameras on the street, in the shops, in the parking, in the parks and sometime in the common areas of toilets, anyone who breaks the law on road or in society would be the news channel next day. So I have my doubts, if the people are really honest there or the fear of good system makes them a good citizen. This means we also need better systems to make good citizens, which requires more funds and more will power. More reforms to collect tax by converting more accounted earnings which is not taxed right now. and better utilisation of same.

This does not apply to all, please consult you local NHS before practicing any one of the followings…
BEST HEALTH “TIPS”
1. How to fight aging
Did you know that just walking for 30 minutes, 3 or 4 times a week is enough to combat aging? According to researchers at the University of California, one of the principle causes of deterioration of the human organism’s physical faculties is its diminished ability to metabolize glucose. And they showed that even leisurely exercise, like taking a walk, plays an important role in keeping glucose metabolism functioning smoothly. Do you spend the whole day sitting at your desk or in front of a computer screen? Why not get up occasionally and do a few minutes of physical exercise? Don’t worry about what other people think. In some Japanese companies, it is even become a collective habit. Every twenty minutes a bell sounds, and everybody gets up to do some stretching exercises, after which they sit down again as if nothing had happened. Japanese managers are convinced that their employees are more productive when they are relaxed.
2. Are you anxious?
Is worrying one of your characteristics? Well, stop! It is okay to worry, but at the right time. Psychologists at the University of Pennsylvania tell patients who suffer from anxiety to regularly do a daily twenty minute “worry session,” always at the same time and in the same place. Collect your head full of worries during the day (don’t suppress them!) and then pour them out during your daily worry session. Exaggerate your worries to the point of absurdity – knit your brows, make faces, let the sweat flow, shake and cower as much as you like. In other words, make a caricature of the part of yourself that is always worried, and in so doing exorcise it. Eliminating worry will help prevent numerous psychosomatic illnesses, which result from living in a state of permanent anxiety.
3. Care your heart while you sleep
In which position do you sleep?
If you sleep on your stomach or on your left side, you are putting pressure on your heart with the extra body weight, while the heart has to continue pumping blood as usual. This additional burden wears the heart out more quickly. Think about it – you spend more than one third of your life sleeping! To reduce the strain on your heart, sleep on your right side, or on your back. This simple technique will add years to your life.4. How to avoid cancer caused by smoking
If you smoke, you can greatly reduce the risk of contracting cancer by drinking carrot juice. This according to the German Doctor Hans Nieper, founder of Eumatabolic Medicine, a new alternative mode of treatment which has become very popular in Germany. The carotene found especially in carrots prevents and can even cure cancer. Dr. Nieper states, “If you smoke 60 cigarettes a day but drink 4 glasses of carrot juice, you will still be less prone to contract cancer than someone who doesn’t smoke but who doesn’t drink carrot juice.” Of course, if you don’t smoke and do drink carrot juice all the better!
5. Avoid eye problems caused by T.V. and monitors
The eye was not made to be constantly focused on close objects. If your work requires that you stare at a computer screen all day long or if you watch a lot of television, stop from time to time to do a few eye exercises. For example, roll your eyes in large circles in both directions; look over to each side as far as possible and then go from up to down; or scan an imaginary text on the wall from left to right; or look out the window as far as you can following the horizon then return to a point right in front of you and begin again. In this way, you will avoid long term eye problems, you will enlarge your inner space, and relax both your eyes and your mind.
7. Losing weight: The Pakistani method
Pakistani women have an amazing trick they use to stay slim: they keep a string permanently tied around their forearms. According toDr. Drupas, a gentle but constant pressure on the nerves in the
forearm stimulates certain glands, particularly those involved in weight control (thyroid, suprarenals). Why don’t you try it? Find two ordinary rubber bands and place them around your right forearm, one third of the way up between your wrist and elbow. The rubber bands should exert noticeable pressure without cutting off blood circulation and should not slip or slide when you move your arm. This is not a tourniquet! For best results, you have to wear the rubber bands constantly, even at night when you sleep. It is also recommended not to wear any other jewelry on the right arm.
8. What to do when you get something in your eye
Got some dust in your eye? Or some other irritant like an eyelash or cigarette ash? You can use the following technique to help others as well as yourself. Before doing anything, make sure you don’t do what you absolutely shouldn’t: rub or press the eye, lift the eyelid, or remove contact lenses without washing your hands. How to proceed? Examine your eye. Is it red? Swollen? Is it tearing? What do you feel? Does it itch? Burn? Is your vision blurred? Let nature do its work – it is usually effective. Tears and natural eye movements will usually get rid of the irritation. Try rinsing your eye with some warm water, or with drops. You can pull on the skin around the eyes, but don’t touch the eyelid. If this doesn’t work, wash your hands, and then lift both the upper and lower eyelids to locate the irritant. Is it on the inside of one of the eyelids, or is it stuck to the eyeball itself? Pour some sterilized, warm water on your eye to flush the irritant out. If you can’t locate the irritant or if the discomfort persists after you have removed the particle, you would better consult a doctor.
9. A few tricks for treating insect bites
You don’t have to sit back and just passively put up with insects, especially those that like to bite (mosquitoes, wasps etc.). Eat asparagus and your sweat will develop an odor that repels insects. Or apply lemon oil to your skin. If you are bitten, there are natural substances to soothe the irritation. Aloe vera has extraordinary powers of soothing skin disorders. It is available in forms for both internal and external application in most health and beauty stores. If you have one of these amazing plants growing at home, cut the tip off one of the leaves (the leaf will heal itself). Apply the pulp and juice to the itching or swollen area. Lightly boiled cabbage or leek makes an excellent analgesic poultice. Of course, if you are hiking in the woods, you might have a little trouble finding cabbage! Plantain also works well. Cut it and rub it to get to the juice then apply it to the affected area.
10. How to get rid of liver spots
If you have liver spots, it is up to you to get rid of them. May be you took too much sun, without using the proper precautions like sunscreen, gradual exposure, etc. If you continue ignoring your skin in this way, you might end up looking like a lizard! Liver spots can also result from a thyroid deficiency. The thyroid gland must therefore be stimulated through a variety of means. For example, brown seaweed tablets: take one a day every morning, for fifteen days a month. Or apply a cream composed of 1 teaspoon oxygenated water and 4 1/2 tablespoons lanovaseline every morning and night. Aloe vera (see previous chapter) is very effective in treating skin disorders. Daily application of aloe vera over a period of time can eliminate liver spots completely. Also take a look at your nutrition: the real problem might lie in what you do or don’t eat, like a diet too high in fat.
14. The anti-allergy vitamin
So much has been said in praise of Vitamin C. So it is not surprising that it is also effective in treating allergic reactions like hayfever. We recommend taking Vitamin C in the form of ascorbate rather then ascorbic acid. When taken in ascorbic acid form, it can cause gastro-intestinal disorders. To fight an allergic reaction, you should consume up to 8 grams. 5 grams are necessary, on average. Start with a dose of 3 grams. Every three hours, take another 1 or 2 grams, until the symptoms disappear completely.
16. How to put an end to heartburn
Heartburn usually results from excess acidity in the stomach, or from improper functioning of your digestive system. At the point where the esophagus and stomach join, a special muscle opens and closes the esophagus. When we swallow food this muscle relaxes to let the food pass into the stomach after which it closes again. But it can happen that the muscle malfunctions. The contents of the stomach then rise back up the esophagus, irritating the area. And this results in the infamous feeling of heartburn. How to stop it? Avoid acidic foods (lemons, etc.), alcohol, fat or fried food, food that is overcooked, coffee, juice, tomato base products and chocolate. But don’t deprive yourself too much. Rather, observe which foods bring on heartburn and avoid them. Also, don’t go to sleep right after eating (you should eat supper around 7 o’clock) and don’t smoke, especially after meals.
17. A miracle remedy
If we offered you a miracle remedy that prevents cardiac disease, certain types of cancer, diabetes, obesity, tooth decay and varicose veins, would you buy it? Certainly you would. There is such a product. But it is not a recent discovery and you won’t find it in a pharmacy but at the grocery store. We are talking about fiber. A study conducted in Holland on 871 men, over a period of ten years, showed that subjects who had a low fiber diet were three times more susceptible to mortal disease – causes notwithstanding – than those who ate a lot of fiber (Future Youth). This said, it cannot be confirmed at present that fiber prevents the above mentioned diseases in all cases. But there is conclusive proof that they occur more frequently in populations with low fiber diets which is precisely the case in the west. According to The Lancet (the British Medical Journal) a diet which contains at least 37 grams of fiber per day (the equivalent of one cup of bran, one apple, one potato and a half cup of cooked spinach) can effectively protect the organism against chronic illnesses common to western society. So fiber is useful in combatting many disorders besides constipation.
18. Stop catching colds
As much as possible, avoid coming into close contact with infected persons, especially if they cough or sneeze. A person with a cold is extremely contagious: he or she fills the air with fine particles of saliva or mucous which transport the virus microbe. Even if the person is careful to wipe his nose with tissue or a handkerchief, the microbes will be transported to his hands. And studies have shown that these viruses are transmitted through hand contact. So if you have to shake hands with someone who has a cold, you would better wash soon after! What can you do if you do catch a cold? It is useless to take antibiotics: they have no effect on viruses. However, there are certain substances found in alcohol which help decongest sinuses, that is why a good hot toddy can work wonders. But take care of your liver: a toddy is just as good with a little rum as with a lot. You don’t have to get drunk to get better. You don’t even have to drink it – just sniff some strong alcohol like cognac or brandy and breathe in the fumes.
19. Use heat to cure
Everyone has heard about how good a sauna feels, and of the relaxing effect of a steam bath which bathes you in hot vapor. But there are other heat treatments which are equally beneficial. Heat relaxes the muscles and ligaments. When applied locally, for example, with hot towels, it can ease muscle spasms. It can also reduce arthritic pain. Heat dilates the blood vessels, which in turn activates circulation. Applied to a wound, it can prevent infection by helping white blood corpuscles and fresh oxygen surround the area more quickly.
20. How to combat fatigue
First make sure you are sleeping enough. Is your nutrition sufficient? In general women need at least 1200 calories per day and men 1500. Avoid monotony: a varied diet will be more likely to provide the nutritive elements you need to conserve your energy. The sensation of fatigue may be stress-related, especially when you experience emotional stress. Do you feel tense at work or at home? Lastly, don’t neglect physical exercise. Tired or not, get out in the fresh air every day. Walking is the minimum effort necessary for staying in shape.
21. Protect yourself against cancer
Radical liberals are not a political group, but a kind of very active molecule that is suspected of being one of the causes of cancer. How can you protect yourself? Diet plays an important role here, especially in the absorption of anti-oxidants. The strongest anti-oxidizing agent is Vitamin E, which is found in wheat germ oil and sunflower seeds. Next comes Vitamin C (oranges, grapefruits, lemons, red peppers etc.). Beta carotene also absorbs large amounts of radical liberals. This substance seems to act as a protecting agent against most types of cancer. Where do you find it? In red vegetables (like tomatoes), orange ones (carrots), yellow (squash), and dark green (broccoli). All these are rich in beta carotene. So make them a regular part of your menu!
22. Prevent high blood pressure
Research has shown that people whose diet is rich in potassium (vegetarians for example) are less likely than others to develop high blood pressure. Calcium is also beneficial. Fortunately, potassium and calcium are abundantly present in a large variety of foods. Fruits, vegetables, beans, fish, fowl and lean meats are full of potassium. Calcium is a little more restricted. Foods rich in calcium usually also contain large amounts of sodium and fat, which can increase blood pressure. However, moderate amounts of milk are recommended, as well as yogurt, almonds, bananas, grapes, broccoli, potatoes, beans, tofu and sardines.
23. Iron strong health
Without iron, there would be no hemoglobin in the blood. Hemoglobin gives red corpuscles their color. And it is the hemoglobin that carries oxygen to all parts of the body. If you lack iron, an insufficient supply of oxygen in your hemoglobin will produce sensations of fatigue, headaches and shortness of breath. Men don’t have to worry too much: most men have a reserve of iron stored in their body that could last 3 years ! But women, because of the menstrual cycle, need twice as much iron as men. And the amount is even higher for pregnant women. Vitamin C doubles the amount of iron the body absorbs: so it is a good idea to add a glass of tomato or orange or grapefruit juice to every meal. On the other hand, tea reduces the amount of iron absorbed by 50% and coffee by about 39%.
24. Aging with a healthy body and mind
Did you know that sexual activity can keep you looking good as you age? Studies conducted in Sweden have shown that elderly people who have sexual partners have much more vitality and a better memory than those who do not. So don’t let your golden years deprive you of the pleasures of sex ! Just forget about the obsession of having to “perform” – the final result is less important than the stimulation itself.
Have fun and keep blogging………

We should have courage to work on the self is to find the beauty within. Situations come that challenge one’s own strength. At such times the mind tends to become weak displaying weaknesses. Then there is no courage to look within. The one who is able to be introspective at that time is able to find a new learning. He is thus able to express the beauty that is lying within. When we understand that at each step of our life, situations come to bring out some quality from within, we’ll never be afraid of situations. we’ll have the courage to challenge our own assumptions and move forward based on the learning that we get and the beauty that we have been able to discover.
